Oh god, SO CUTE. An utterly wonderful comic (though I'm biased)! XD
So are you mostly in Melbourne or Sydney now? It feels like I haven't seen you in forever...
Hey Komala, I last saw you just before Xmas, at your wedding party, right? Yep, I haven't seen you guys for ages... And I'm mostly in Melbourne now. But I'll be coming back every month for the next few months because there's SMASH, Supanova, Animania, etc... so MAN, I'm going to be around quite a bit. I'll be sure to see you guys then :D
Oh my, that avatar of yours is SUPERCUTE as well.
All this talk of chickens and eggs is making me hungry...
I've been noticing a pattern of people moving to Melbourne over the years. I hope it isn't proving too stressful. Good luck. :)
Hey, thanks. I'll let you know when I've settled down.
I LOVE this, I don't think it's a silly thought at all -- In fact I think it's really clever! Very cute.
Thankyou! :D Glad you liked it.
aw, this is cute. I've never seen a long entry that's surprisingly pleasant.
Hey, true, LOL. I'm sure I've posted a longer entry than this that wasn't unpleasant though. :)
Hello~ I hope you had a pleasant move! Also, looking forward to "In Odd We Trust" ! (and the chick story was super cute~)
Actually, my move was kinda messed up, but it could have been alot worse. So everything's okay. Thanks for the well-wishes!
Hello~ Well, i hope everything has balanced out. I've had some pretty hectic moves before, but I usually have fun once i start unpacking!
Also, i was just wondering if you knew when/if Tokyo Pop will be displaying the list of winners? I was really looking forward to reading the stories (if they display them) but I haven't seen a list on their website?
Ayyeeee... TOKYOPOP has just been restructured all of a sudden! It just happened in the past 2 days, and a fair number of key people have been fired. I'm real sorry to let you know this, but I don't know what's happened with the writing competition.
I'll contact the TOKYOPOP editor who's in charge of it, and ask her. Hopefully she'll be able to provide me with an answer. If worse comes to worse, I'll announce the winners on my blog. :D
Oh wow, that so terrible!! I understand, thanks for letting me know! And, thanks for asking. My condolences to all those who lost their work!
Oh, how adorable!! I love it. :)
We miss you in Sydney!! Oh, does this mean you'll be at Sydnova? That would be great, then I can get a chance to say hi again.
Hope Melbourne treats you well. :D
Hey, thanks. :D For your info, I WILL be a Supanova Sydney (er, probably). I'll be bunking with the SMASH people, so you'll see me floating around there somewhere. I hope to see you there. :D
Ha, that's very cute little story! I like it!! :)
Here by way of The Beat. This is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. ^_^
Yah, thanks to Heidi for posting it up. So nice of her to do that (and for you to drop by and leave a message too). :)
Also here by way of The Beat. This is darling.
I've read an advance copy of In Odd We Trust. I love it! I'm a fan of Koontz's Odd Thomas novels, but as a major (huge) comics fan, I love seeing an original story in manga form. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone. Just going to say, it's a very very good read, and I'm recommending it to people already.
Thanks for dropping by, and especially thankyou for letting me know you read and enjoyed "In Odd We Trust"! It's a relief to hear that a Dean Koontz fan (and OT fan) has given the book a seal of approval - you're probably the first comic book fan I know of who also reads Dean Koontz (from my experience, DK fans and comic fans don't overlap much).
Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for passing on a good word!
Thanks, Dean. :D "Fear My Dear" rocked hardcore too. I registered for voting ESPECIALLY for that webcomic. :) I would love to draw something in the style of FMD someday.
Saw this strip linked over at Newsarama. It's adorable! And the way you've staged it is really clever. Funny... a bird outside my window started chirping just as I got to the "CHIRP!" panel... for a second, I thought you'd somehow embedded a sound clip in the strip. ;) I wasn't previously familiar with your work. Hope you don't mind, I'm going to add you so I can find out more. Neat stuff.
Thanks alot for dropping by and letting me know - hmm, a multimedia interactive kind of comic strip sounds like a good idea. ;) Something to consider for the future.
By all means, add me. It'll be nice to see you around here. :D I've added you too.
Sooooo cute! I really love it!
very cute story I enjoyed it
Thanks. :D Glad you enjoyed it.
