AAAAUUUGH!!! So cute!!! *passes out*
Thanks. :D I was worried people will think it's too cute... but apparently not.
Gotta love those short stories. :)
There are more coming! :D Part of the "ONE2EIGHT" project. I'll get around to explaining it someday...
That's really cute ^_^ Silent stories are tough to pull off.
Really? They're actually pretty good for short short stories... but I agree that they take a different kind of pacing to make it work. Not that I've done alot of silent stories. XD
Hee! Adorable!
(Love those hand-toned clouds!)
Hand-toned? Haha, everything in this story is computer generated (uh, hand-inked though)! I used the watercolour tool in Corel Photopaint to give it a kind of ink wash look. I think the ink wash look is so pretty with the right kind of linework.
Fooled you! XD
Heh! I should have said "hand-modified". (I can't imagine anyone with a deadline is still using analog tones! XD) I thought I recongnized SE-889 with some skillful modifications but I hereby give up trying to guess how people do things-- everyone's gotten so good that the media increasingly takes a backseat to message. It looks wonderful! :D
Yep, that SE-889 tone is multiplying like bunnies across computer-toned manga pages. :P Personally I wish Comicworks had a different sky tone for the sake of variety, but you've got a good eye! XD
Adorable :D Made me smile thats for sure :)
Thanks. :D Putting a smile on someone's face is pretty rewarding in itself. The reason why I draw stuff like this. :D
Really nice. I liked it a lot.
Awesome!!!! I really dig this!!!!!!
I guarantee you the next short romance story I do will be between 2 martial artists, who will discover love in the middle of delivering high-kicks to each other's chins. :P
Heya, thanks. :D I still gotta reply to your email!!
:) your lightness of touch in romances gives them a power and sweetness with an excellent after taste.
Thanks. :D Interesting way of putting it - makes me want to eat something... *gets hungry*
Too cute! Love it and it's so Valentinesy :)
I was going to release it next year February in time for Valentine's day, but since it's 6 months away, I just though "what the heck". :D
lol. Well, that's rather new. ^_^
Hey Queenie. I love this! And it's not too cute in my book. Because...I'm still imaginig what kind of balloon HE is gonna turn into after he eats that "chocolate" from his witch friend:) Call me crazy...
BTW doctor_drums = Jeremy.
Haha, that's a good idea, but the boy isn't going to turn into a balloon. He's actually a magician himself, and originally had a tophat and a cane. But nobody goes walking in the countryside with a tophat and cane, and so I had him without them (and thus looking like a normal human). But this boy will never eat anything that is jinxed. :P
But what you say has given me an idea. Maybe we need a sequel!!
Aaah! Where'd the last two pages come from? They weren't there the first time I read this. ^_^;;
I like it a lot more now. ^_^
Heck, and I was totally confused about the comment you posted up too. I don't know anyone who'd had 2 pages loaded up, but not the other two. Who knows? *shrugs*
Heh. I was thinking: Yes, it's cute. But I'm not sure the relationship between Boy and Girly-balloon is going to work out. XD
Hmm. I wonder where she pulled the Valentine from. Malletspace?
She's a witch. She doesn't NEED a malletspace, she has magic.
Oh, it's so cute! I can't wait for The Dreaming book 2! Aww, I just can't get over how cute this comic is. You should draw little witches more often, hee.
Thanks! And yeah, the style IS very cute. Now I wanna do a sequel... more witches!
This is such a heartfelt story! :D I love the direction in which you took this--beautiful work. =3

I love it!!! It's so cute and nice!! How'd you come up with it?
Thanks. :D And oddly enough, it was the art style that got me. I saw a manga with a Miyazaki-influenced style done with ink wash and what seemed like fineliners. I thought it was lovely and felt compelled to try and copy it, and the story just kinda popped into my head from that point on.

This little story is awsome:) Personly I like evil, magic, romance, and adventure. "The Dreaming" is an awsome story I don't like to read, but as soon as I picked it up I couldn't put it down. My dad said it was garbige I told him that i'm learning big words he bought it.
Thanks. :D I like evil, magic, romance and adventure too, preferably in the same manga. I have some manga in the works that are like that, but unfortunately none that can be done soon, due to their length. You can't have a manga encompassing all these things without it being all long and epic and all. :P
Your dad doesn't like "comic books"?

How cute!!! Ummm, why is there no words?
You don't really need words to tell a story. :D As long as what's happening can be understsood.
